BIO CORIS is a family venture on Terreno Nuñún, northwest of Coris, with the goal of advancing agriculture in the area through innovation, collaboration and education. BIO CORIS began as a family decision to put unused land to work. Four partners share ownership of Terreno Nuñún, 36 hectares in Coris of which about five are planted so far.

BIO CORIS nació de una decisión familiar: poner a producir un terreno que no se usaba. Cuatro socios comparten la propiedad del Terreno Nuñún, 36 hectáreas en Coris de las cuales unas cinco están sembradas hasta ahora.

Before anything grows reliably, the land needs infrastructure. That's where most of the work has gone so far: Antes de que algo crezca de forma confiable, el terreno necesita infraestructura. Ahí se ha ido la mayor parte del trabajo hasta ahora:

Perched on the western slopes of the Cordillera Negra, Coris is a tranquil mountain village defined by dramatic landscapes and a dry, sunny microclimate. Steeped in traditional highland culture, its fertile soils and agricultural roots make it a vibrant slice of the Ancash Andes. Encaramado en las laderas occidentales de la Cordillera Negra, Coris es un tranquilo pueblo de montaña definido por paisajes imponentes y un microclima seco y soleado. De arraigada cultura andina, sus suelos fértiles y su tradición agrícola lo convierten en un rincón vivo de los Andes de Ancash.
